NA Vice Chairman inspects implementation of national target programs in Ha Giang
(VOVWORLD) - A delegation of the National Assembly (NA) led by Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong worked with Ha Giang provincial authorities on Friday to inspect the implementation of three national target programs in the province.

The three programs focus on new-style rural area building, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority inhabited areas and mountainous regions.
According to Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Son, Ha Giang has achieved or surpassed the programs’ set targets. The multidimensional poverty rate in the province dropped 5.12%, higher than the 4% target, and the poverty rate among ethic minority households fell 5.87%.
He stressed that the target programs have helped improve the lives of local people and contributed to infrastructure development in rural areas.
However, Son acknowledged that the the programs have not yet been implemented equally in the province, particularly in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong highly appreciated the leadership of the provincial authorities in actively, promptly and effectively implementing the tasks assigned under the target programs.
He asked the province to pay attention to completing the disbursement of investment for the programs and fulfil all the set targets by 2025.
The same day, the NA Vice Chairman visited the Vi Xuyen war martyrs’ cemetery and paid working visits to the Bach Ngoc and Ngoc Linh communes of Vi Xuyen district.
