(VOVworld) – National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu welcomed a delegation of ethnic minority people from Son La province. At the meeting in Hanoi yesterday, Luu praised the province’s contributions and efforts for implementing social security policies, in particular the poverty reduction policy. He stressed that over the past years, the Party and State have targeted remote and ethnic areas, including Son La province, with a number of national programs to reduce difficulties for ethnic minority people. The Vice Chairman also called on delegates to continue working to develop economy, improve people’s living standard, and build the country.
