(VOVWORLD) - A high-ranking delegation led by Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong paid working visits to Bac Kan and Cao Bang provinces on Sunday to learn about the provinces' socio-economic performance.
In Bac Kan, Ms. Phong called for efforts to increase budget collection, help locals reduce poverty, and improve investment quality.
In Cao Bang, local authority briefed NA delegates about difficulties facing Cao Bang’s socio-economic development, particularly traffic issues and measures to resolve them. NA Vice Chairwoman Phong suggested the local authority work with the central government on petitions, reports, and development plans.
Earlier, Phong attended a celebration of National Solidarity with locals in Ha Quang and Thong Nong district.
