(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly’s Q&A session concluded on Thursday after 2 and a half days.

In his report on the socio-economic recovery and development program, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh said the government and the Prime Minister have adopted several incentives concerning tax relaxation, land rent, and credits. By May, 2022, more than 1.5 billion USD has been disbursed, of which 975 million USD was for tax relaxation.
Mr. Minh said: "In the near future, the government and the Prime Minister will direct ministries and agencies to accelerate the program and make it more effective. In June, we will issue instructions on special mechanisms for bidding and delegate power in provincial people’s Committees to implement the projects on expressways with the public investment mode."
The Deputy Prime Minister also reported on the climate change response in the Mekong river delta, ODA disbursement, and solutions to accelerate the Vietnam marine economic strategy.

In his closing speech, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said during the Q&A session, 266 deputies registered to raise questions and 131 deputies asked questions. Mr. Hue praised the effectiveness of the session.
He said: "NA deputies ensured the timing of the Q&A session. They have raised their sense of responsibility and made practical, constructive questions. The Deputy Prime Minister, Ministers and Head of Sectors made clear explanation to deputies’ questions."
The NA Chairman asked the government to take coordinated measures to create changes in socio-economic issues to address voters’ concerns.
