They expressed satisfaction with the fact that the ceasefire is being respected, and the situation on the contact line is calm.
Last week, the three leaders signed a joint statement on a full ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. Under the peace deal, Azerbaijani and Armenian forces remained at their current positions while Russian peacekeepers were deployed to the region.
The conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, a disputed territory that had been part of Azerbaijan before the Soviet Union break-up, but primarily populated by ethnic Armenians, broke out in February 1988, causing 30,000 deaths. Thousands died as tensions has fueled again since September.
