(VOVworld) – National Assembly deputies discussed crime and corruption prevention in 2015 on Wednesday. Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang said that national defense has been ensured and social order maintained and the number of crimes has fallen significantly. The Government Inspectorate reported that the National Steering Committee for Corruption Prevention has inspected anti-corruption measures at 4 ministries and 10 provinces.

Many deputies said that corruption must be strictly dealt with to create a transparent investment environment and ensure the effective use of state capital. They also discussed the performance of the head of the Supreme People’s Procuracy and the Chief Judge of the Supreme People’s Court.
