(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and a National Assembly delegation of Hai Phong City met with voters on Saturday in Tien Lang district and the meeting was broadcast live to 21 communes and towns.

Voters described the first session of the 15th National Assembly as successful, as it elected high-ranking personnel of the National Assembly, State and Government for the 2021-2026 term. Voters praised the Government’s COVID-19 vaccine diplomacy and its implementation of the dual goal of pandemic prevention and socio-economic development.
Voters asked the National Assembly and Government to continue adopting incentives for businesses to recover, monitor spending, and support pandemic prevention and control. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue told the voters,“The Party Central Committee has already discussed budget spending and the National Assembly will also discuss this issue. In addition to the overall strategy, which is methodical, consistent, uniform, and objective, there will a master plan for post-pandemic economic recovery.”
Later on Saturday, National Assembly Chairman Hue had a meeting with voters of Hong Bang district, Hai Phong city.
After listening to voters' opinions at the Political and Administrative Center of Hong Bang District, Chairman Hue briefed them on Vietnam’s vaccine diplomacy, saying large amounts of vaccines will arrive in Vietnam the fourth quarter of 2021, contributing to expanding vaccine coverage across the country.
On this occasion, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen presented 10 ventilators, 1 million masks and 100,000 medical test kits to help Hai Phong city fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
