National Assembly Chairman receives Cambodian Prime Minister
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Monday hosted a reception for Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet who is in Hanoi for a two-day official visit to Vietnam.

Both host and guest agreed that the two countries’ legislative bodies should continue to cooperate closely with each other both bilaterally and multilaterally, in sharing experiences in professional affairs, overseeing the implementation of signed agreements and increasing the prestige of both countries.
Chairman Hue suggested that the Governments of the two countries continue to effectively implement signed agreements, especially the Vietnam-Cambodia border trade agreement, in order to facilitate the import and export of goods across the border.
PM Hun Manet said this is his first visit to Vietnam in his capacity as Prime Minister of Cambodia and his first visit to an ASEAN member country after the new Cambodian government was formed, reaffirming Cambodia’s policy of strengthening relations with Vietnam.
He spoke highly of the close and effective cooperation between the two countries’ legislative bodies.
