(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung asked Vietnam and Mongolia to boost bilateral cooperation, especially in economics.

At a reception for Mongolian President Tsakhiagin Elbegdorja on Friday, Mr. Hung said that the Vietnamese National Assembly wants to enhance cooperative ties with the Mongolian parliament in law making and supervision. He urged the functional agencies of both countries to work together in organizing activities to mark the 60
th anniversary of diplomatic ties in November 2014.
Also on Friday, the Mongolian President gave a talk at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. He introduced Vietnamese students to Mongolia’s land, people, culture, and economics. He said Vietnam and Mongolia have developed a friendly relationship based on mutual assistance. The two countries have cooperated in agriculture, pharmacy, healthcare, oil and gas, tourism, and national defense. He expressed his hope that Vietnam and Mongolia would expand cooperation in the future, especially in education and that more Vietnamese students would study in Mongolia, and vice versa.
