National Assembly Chairman receives President of Cambodian Senate
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man received Hun Sen, Chairman of the Cambodian People's Party, Chairman of the Supreme Advisory Council of the King of Cambodia, and President of the Cambodian Senate in Hanoi on Friday. Hun Sen led the Cambodian delegation to Vietnam to attend the funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Chairman Man praised Senate President Hun Sen's role in enhancing the friendly and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. He emphasized the strong relationship between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the Cambodian National Assembly and Senate, which has significantly contributed to the deepening of bilateral cooperation.
Senate President Hun Sen highlighted General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's important contributions to the exceptional development of Vietnam-Cambodia relations.
He described Nguyen Phu Trong as a leader who dedicated his life to the happiness of the people and to fostering solidarity and friendship among Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
Hun Sen expressed hope that the two countries will continue to strengthen cooperation across all channels and fields, particularly in economic and social areas, to improve the quality of life for their people.
