National Assembly Chairwoman meets voters in Can Tho
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan met voters in Cai Rang district, Can Tho city, on Thursday, ahead of the 5th session of the 14th National Assembly.
Ms. Ngan told voters of the fight against corruption: “The Central Steering Committee for Corruption Prevention and Control has strong political determination to intensify the fight against corruption. Any law offender, no matter what position they hold, will be severely punished. The National Assembly at its upcoming session will scrutinize deputies believed to violate law and lost the people’s trust.”
The top legislator also informed voters of Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements and the Assembly’s oversight of issues that have grabbed public attention.
