At the year-end session, the legislative body will approve 6 draft laws and 12 draft resolutions as well as give opinions on 9 other bills. The Assembly will look into government reports on socio-economic development and the state budget for this year, as well as plans for next year. The deputies will debate the project on land acquisition, compensation, and resettlement of the Long Thanh international airport and the Resolution on investment in some sections to the East of the North-South Highway. The time for Q&A session will be 3 days.

Before the opening ceremony, deputies lay wreaths to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum. The session will conclude on November 24.
