National Assembly passes 7 resolutions and 2 laws on Thursday morning
(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly deputies on Thursday morning voted to pass 7 resolutions and 2 laws.

Deputies passed the revised Law on Insurance Business and the amendments to the Law on Intellectual Property, which will begin to take effect on January 1, 2023.
They approved 5 resolutions on investment policy for important transport infrastructure projects from North to South like Ring Road 4 in Hanoi, Ring Road 3 in Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa-Buon Ma Thuot Expressway, and Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway. These road projects are expected to promote the socio-economic development of the areas through which the road passes, while strengthening national defense and security.
The National Assembly also passed a resolution on on piloting the model of organizing labor activities, career guidance and vocational training for inmates outside the prison. According to the resolution, the sending of prisoners out for work and vocational training should abide by the principle of safety, on a voluntary and equal basis, and with partial payment of labor.
Prisoners who are not allowed to go out for work and vocational training include: prisoners who commit crimes of infringing on national security, sabotaging peace, fighting against humanity and war crimes; having two or more criminal convictions; dangerous recidivism; foreigners; people under 18 years old; and people aged 60 years or older.
