(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly’s Friday discussions on the implementation of Vietnam’s socio-economic tasks for 2017 and 2018 have drawn voters’ attention.
The public praised the government’s efforts to boost economic growth, which has less depended on mining and natural resources like crude oil, cement, and coal. Luong Van Phan, a resident in Hoan Kiem district, said: “Our economic growth should be boosted by productivity rather than natural resources. Meanwhile, productivity should be boosted by skilled and strong workers whose income is equivalent to their wisdom.”
Head of the Lawyers’ Delegation of Quang Binh province Cao Van Thiem praised constructive, frank, and practical discussions by National Assembly deputies.
Head of the Office of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Trinh Huu Hung lauded the government’s report. He attributed Vietnam’s socio-economic growth to the efforts of the whole political system, the Party, the government, businesses, and the people.
