(VOVworld) - Delegates to the 6^th session of the National Assembly Social Affairs Committee agreed on the need to review the impact by the Bill on Beverages and Alcoholic Drinks on economic and cultural aspects.

During the meeting on Friday, Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien said the law was required following repeated warnings by the World Health Organization on the impact on human health. Delegates also reviewed the Ministry of Health’s Population Law governing birth replacement rates and measures to reduce gender inequality at birth.
