National Assembly will meet for 19 days from May 23
(VOVWORLD) -The National Assembly will hold a preparatory meeting and open its 3rd session on Monday and the session is planned to run for 19 days, according to the National Assembly Office.

Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong told a press conference in Hanoi on Friday that as the COVID-19 pandemic is under control, the in-person session will be held at the National Assembly House.
Deputies will deliberate and approve 5 law projects, 3 draft resolutions and give opinions on 6 other law projects. Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Vu Minh Tuan said deputies will also discuss economic and social issues, state budget, oversight, and other agenda.
“The National Assembly will decide on investment policies for 5 projects: Ring Road 4 in Hanoi capital region; Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3; Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway; Khanh Hoa-Buon Ma Thuot Expressway; and Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang Expressway. Deputies give overall assessment of the implementation of the Resolution on adjusting contents and solutions in order to continue effectively enforcing the policy of investment in construction of Ho Chi Minh road for 2020-2021 and plan of the next phase of the Ho Chi Minh road project,” Tuan said.
The session includes two and a half days of Q&A.
