Many deputies praised the National Assembly’s approval of the revised Land Law and revised Law on Credit Institutions.
Truong Xuan Cu, a National Assembly deputy for Hanoi, said: “The approval of the revised Land Law will remove obstacles and difficulties in determining land prices and land management, and responsibilities of localities, ministries, departments, and sectors. The government will specify the law through decrees and circulars to ensure effective promulgation.”
Nguyen Quoc Luan, a National Assembly deputy for Yen Bai province, said that the revised Land Law will create more favorable conditions for people in mountain and ethnic communities.
“The revised Land Law will create a legal corridor and incentives for localities to arrange and allocate land for production and housing land for ethnic people to improve their life and productivity,” said Mr. Luan.
At a press conference on Thursday after the closing of the National Assembly’s extraordinary session, Secretary General of the National Assembly and Chairman of the National Assembly Office, Bui Van Cuong said that the National Assembly Standing Committee will work with the Government to develop specific plans for its enactment on January 1, 2025.
