Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, Chairman of the Committee, said the domestic aviation market has seen rapid development in the first 6 months of the year with an increasing volume of passengers and transportation of goods compared to the same period last year. The aviation market continues to  expand to meet the international airport standards. Mr. Binh asked the Ministry of Transport and relevant ministries and sectors to supervise the legal system related to aviation security regulations in line with the International Civil Aviation Association and to promote technological application to assure aviation safety. He said: “Relevant agencies need to participate in open exchange and consider all information toward improving the efficiency and security of aviation. It is necessary to prevent and deal with unexpected emergency situations. Anti-Terrorism Steering Committees need to build an effective system and focus on anti-terrorism drills to assure aviation safety”.
