(VOVworld) – The National Committee for APEC 2017 held its year-end meeting on Friday in Hanoi to review its activities in 2015.The Committee’s chairman Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh said 2016 will be an important year for Vietnam to complete its preparations for the 2017 event. He asked related ministries and sectors to speed up preparations and to complete infrastructure and logistics tasks by the end of 2016. He said it is necessary to call on APEC member countries, the International APEC Secretariat, businesses, and international friends to support Vietnam in organizing this important event.
