(VOVworld) - The national conference on implementing the Resolution of the Party Central Committee’s 4^th session on urgent issues in party building has concluded in Hanoi on Wednesday. Addressing the closing session, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said that delegates reached a high consensus on the significance and necessity of the resolution and shared a strong will for implementation:“The strong determination will help weather all difficulties during the implementation. Both the Politburo and the Party Central Committee are committed to fixing urgent issues in party building for its well-being. It is important to communicate the commitment to the wider public to gain their support and involvement”.

Party leader Trong said that recommendations made at this meeting will be the basis for the Politburo to reconsider, adjust and supplement plans, methods, and timeline for the implementation process. He added that criticism and self-criticism is of paramount importance:“It is essential that each of you as member of the Party, Politburo, and Party Secretariat to immediately criticize yourselves, your families, and your organizations. You need to assess whether you are interest free, objective and transparent. It is best that each of us could adjust our own because by doing that we can gain people’s deep and sustainable trust”.
Mr. Trong also urged the Party and State to pay more attention to developing human resources by having an objective and scientific approach to recruit the right people, who are both morally and intellectually qualified. The Politburo will monitor and accelerate the implementation. Trong hoped that this meeting will motivate each party member to set themselves right to ensure a close bond between the Party and people.
