(VOVWORLD) -More than 1.4 million delegates on Monday attended a national conference on popularizing and studying the resolutions released at the 8th session of the 13th Party Central Committee.

The hybrid conference jointly organized by the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee focused on core issues and new features of the resolutions, thus enhancing officials and Party members’ awareness of their responsibility in implementing tasks set in the resolution.
The conference enabled Party Committees, Party Organizations and ministries, sectors and localities to continue to popularize the resolution to the lower level, and build their own plans and action programs to implement the resolution in a practical and effective manner.

Referring to Resolution 43 on "Continuing to promote traditions and the strength of great national unity, building an increasingly prosperous and happy country", President Vo Van Thuong said the people's right to mastery is increasingly respected and put into practice, especially direct democracy and grassroots democracy.
“Each person has different thoughts and shows patriotism in their own way, but what unites all Vietnamese patriots is that they work to achieve the goal of building a prosperous Vietnam to become a developed country with high income by 2045. The basic policy and development goal must be unified,” he said.
Emphasizing Resolution 42 on "Continuing to reform and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of building and protecting the fatherland in the new period", Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said the viewpoint of promulgating the Resolution is to take care of people, for people, to put people at the center, which is the goal, motivation, and resource for national sustainable development.
He emphasized renewing management, strengthening decentralization of power, and promoting the role of the people.
