It was developed by the Vietnam National Mine Action Center (VNMAC) in collaboration with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Vietnam to contribute to preventing mine and explosive accidents in the country.

With a lively graphic interface and a rich source of materials, the library is an online treasure trove of knowledge with a variety of documents that provide useful information about mines and explosives.

Designed as a virtual exhibition room, the library allows users to easily navigate and explore a video gallery of documentaries, news, and animated videos on preventing accidents with mines and explosives.

It also includes a landmines display room,  featuring 3D and 2D models and photos of 300 types of mines and explosives found in all 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam; and an image gallery containing drawings and photographs on efforts to overcome the consequences of mines and educational activities for preventing mine accidents.
