(VOVworld) – A ceremony to mark National Great Unity Day and the 84^th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam National United Front, the predecessor of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), was held on Sunday in Tan Trao commune, Tuyen Quang province.

President of the VFF, Nguyen Thien Nhan spoke highly of solidarity and self-reliance of the local people in production and work. Mr. Nhan also asked Tan Trao commune to continue to promote the campaign to be united in building cultural lifestyle in the residential area which is closely attached to the new rural development program. The area should be a role model in the northern mountainous areas and in line with the tradition of the place where President Ho Chi Minh worked and led the Vietnamese revolution.
