(VOVWORLD) - A ceremony will be held on January 2 to present the National Press Awards 2017 for outstanding press work on the fight against corruption and waste, the organizers announced on Wednesday.

A contest called “Press combating corruption and waste” was held for the first time, attracting more than 1,500 entries.
President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Tran Thanh Man hailed the fairness and transparency of the judges in selecting the works to be honored.
