National Press Awards on fighting corruption, wastefulness announced
(VOVWORLD) - Outstanding works by journalists throughout the country, and winners of the National Press Awards on fighting corruption and wastefulness, were announced at a press conference in Hanoi on Friday.
Winning works were selected from nearly 1,200 entries covering various formats of print, media, radio, and television, according to Ho Quang Loi, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Journalist Association.
“These press awards are part of efforts to advocate and realize the Party resolutions on fighting corruption and wastefulness, as well as morality degradation among Party members. This award aims to encourage the people to fight corruption and wastefulness.”, said Mr. Loi at the press briefing.
The award ceremony will take place next Tuesday in Hanoi.
