National Radio Festival: Live broadcasts engage more audience
(VOVWORLD) -Live radio broadcasts have reported all aspects of life, making radio closer the audience and engaging more audience, said Vice President of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Tran Minh Hung.

Journalist Tran Minh Hung, who is also chief organizer of the 16th National Radio Festival and Vice Chairman of the Final Round Jury Council, opened the final round of the Live Radio competition, at the Radio and TV Station of Thanh Hoa province on Monday.
“From 2001 to now, live radio programs have always been held at the Radio Festival. Radio in today's era must focus even more on live programming. The goal of broadcasting is to reach out to the public via reports filled with the daily life happenings. Only by broadcasting live can we increase the participation of audience and make our programs more appealing,” Mr. Hung said.
Finalists of the four-day Live Radio competition are 34 entries from 33 affiliates of radio and TV stations of provinces and cities, the Voice of Vietnam, People's Army Radio and TV Center, and the People's Public Security’s Communications Department.
