(VOVworld) – On Friday, the National Organizing Board for the 70^th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Police Force and 10^th anniversary of the day for public national security protection held a meeting to review its operation.

General Tran Dai Quang, Minister of Public Security and Head of the Organizing Board, said these anniversary celebrations were considered significant political drives. The anniversaries helped promote the image of the police to the people. The Minister urged promotion of the “For national security” emulation movement to welcome the 6^th Party Congress of the Ministry of Public Security and the 12^th National Party Congress.
