(VOVworld)- The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Thursday discussed the budget allocation for 2 national target programs on climate change and environmental pollution treatment. The deputies agreed on the need to select priorities for investment projects. National Assembly’s Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu said: "We need to invest in pilot projects on waste treatment and technological application in pollution treatment, raising the public and enterprises’ awareness about environmental protection. These pilot projects will then be replicated nationwide".

The same day, the deputies discussed the Law on Mediation at grassroots level.
