Art performance celebrates opening ceremony of National Great Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Week (Photo: congannhandan.vn)

At the opening ceremony, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan called the national tradition of patriotism and solidarity an invaluable cultural heritage which has been strengthened through generations. “We believe that Vietnamese people living inside and outside Vietnam will continue to promote national unity and contribute their knowledge and talent to the national cause of a prosperous people in a strong nation, of democracy, equality, and civilization.”

The opening ceremony was followed by an art program involving some 300 artists from several art troupes. The cultural heritage week will end on November 23.
