(VOVworld) - NATO allies agreed Saturday to provide increased military support for the US-led coalition fighting IS in Syria and Iraq.

This statement was just released on Saturday by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the NATO Summit in Warsaw, Poland. Leaders of the 28 NATO countries also agreed in principle to deploy surveillance aircraft to provide direct support for the coalition fighting IS.
At this summit, Belgian Prime Minster Charles Michel confirmed to invest 9.2 billion Euros in military activities over the next fifteen years and mobilize 200 million Euros to maintain medium-term performance of the Armed Forces.
