NATO discusses troop withdrawal from Afghanistan
(VOVWORLD) - NATO defense ministers met online on Wednesday, their first meeting since US President Joe Biden took office, to discuss the withdrawal of all American troops in Afghanistan.

Due to increasing violence in Afghanistan, President Biden is reviewing a deal between his predecessor and the Taliban for a May 1 deadline to pull all 9,600 American troops out of Afghanistan.
The US has accused the Taliban of attacking civilians and the Afghan National Security Forces. A Taliban spokesman said Friday that the accusation is “unfounded.”
