(VOVWORLD) - 57% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine should negotiate with Russia to try to achieve peace, 38% believe that Ukraine should negotiate, while 5% said they were not sure. These are the results of a poll conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).

Previously, the results of a survey by Ukraine's Razumkov Sociological Center announced on July 15 showed that 43.9% of Ukrainian respondents supported negotiations with Russia; 35% of respondents disagreed and 21.1% of respondents did not give an opinion.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, on Thursday announced the need to quickly end the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, and expressed hope that the next peace conference would pave the way for ending the conflict.
