Neighboring countries agree on settling Libya’s crisis
(VOVworld) – Libya’s neighbors agreed during their 7
th conference on Tuesday to continue working to resolve Libya’s crisis.

The Algerian Minister of Maghreb Affairs, the African Union, and the Arab League’s Abdelkader Messahel said the conference will keep neighboring countries and regional and global organizations informed about the situation in Libya and the region and analyze the latest developments. This is an opportunity for Algeria to confirm its support for the process the UN is following to accelerate the formation of a national unity government able to rule Libya in the transition process and help overcome challenges such as terrorism. Messahel praised the role of the UN in promoting peace in Libya and affirmed Algeria’s support for the new UN special envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler.
