Nepal aims to raise 2 billion USD to overcome earthquake aftermath
(VOVworld) – On Sunday, the Nepalese Prime Minister Sushil Koirala appealed for 2 billion USD for use as a reconstruction fund for the country after it had been devastated by two earthquakes.

The Nepalese government has contributed 200 million USD to the fund and called for more support from individuals and organizations. More than 20 countries have taken part in rescue work since the first earthquake on April 25th. The United Nations raised a fund worth 415 million USD to help Nepal’s victims.
