(VOVworld) - The death toll from the April 25 quake in Nepal, which measured 7.8 on the Richter scale, has reached 7,566, and over 14,500 people have been injured, the government announced Tuesday. At a press conference in Kathmandu, spokesperson of Nepal’s Ministry of Home Affairs Laxmi Prasad Dhakal said the number of people killed in the quake continues to rise as rescue teams reach remote area, where houses were destroyed by the aftershocks.
