New bridge connecting Vietnam and Cambodia inaugurated
(VOVworld) – The Long Binh-Chrey Thom bridge connecting An Giang province of Vietnam and Kandal province of Cambodia was inaugurated on Monday.

In his address, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc highlighted the bridge’s importance in boosting socio-economic development and friendship between the two countries. Cambodian Prime Minister Hunsen said the bridge represented the friendship and solidarity between the two governments and peoples and celebrated the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. The bridge, 440 meters long, costs 38 million USD shared by the Vietnamese government and the Cambodian Royal government.
