New H7N9 case confirmed in China
A 61-year-old woman from the city of Langfang in Hebei province, China, has been confirmed to be infected with the H7N9 virus. The woman, currently in critical condition, is receiving emergency treatment at a Beijing hospital. Before developing flu-like symptoms, the woman sold vegetables at a local market where live poultry is also on sale. People in close contact with her are being watched closely but none of them has exhibited symptoms.
