New Indonesian President values ties with Vietnam
(VOVworld) – The new Indonesian President Joko Widodo spoke highly of the bilateral ties between Indonesia and Vietnam in a meeting with the Head of the Presidential Office Dao Viet Trung, a special envoy sent by President Truong Tan Sang, in Jakarta on Monday.

At a meeting following the presidential inauguration ceremony, Widodo hailed Trung’s attendance as proof of the two countries’ cooperation and friendship. Trung told his host that he firmly believes in the prosperity of Indonesia and that the strategic partnership between the two countries will go from strength to strength. He also conveyed President Truong Tan Sang’s invitation to visit Vietnam in the future.
