New suspect in Bangkok bombing arrested

(VOVworld) - Thai authorities have arrested Kamarudeng Saho, a Thai man suspected of involving in the deadly August 17 bombing of the Erawan Shrine in downtown Bangkok, killing 20 people and wounding 120 others.
Kamarudeng Saho was apprehended in Sungai Kolok in Thailand's southern province of Narathiwat on Tuesday. He was taken to Bangkok and detained at the 11th Army Circle headquarters on Wednesday.
Investigators found out that the man had contacted Wanna Suansan, one of eight wanted suspects in the Erawan Shrine incident. Earlier, Thai authorities also arrested a foreign man, who was alleged to be the main suspect in the bombing at a checkpoint bordering Cambodia.
