New UK Prime Minister vows to leave EU by October 31
(VOVWORLD) - Boris Johnson has become the UK’s new prime minister, promising to complete Brexit with a deal by October 31. He claims he can do better deal with the EU but will prepare for no deal.

After his speech outside No.10 Downing Street, Johnson appointed his new cabinet. Sajid Javid has been appointed chancellor, Priti Patel home secretary, and Dominic Raab foreign secretary. Ben Wallace has been given the key position of defence secretary. International trade secretary has been appointed to Liz Truss, while Matt Hancock becomes new heath secretary. Robert Buckland has been named Heath secretary and Amber Rudd appointed to work and pensions secretary and minister for women and equality. The new cabinet will also see the return of Stephen Barclay as Brexit secretary.
