New Vietnam Embassy complex to be built in India

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a ground-breaking ceremony for the new complex of Embassy of Vietnam in India, on Thursday during his visit for the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit.

The complex covers 3,450 square meters in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi and comprises of a working space and a residential area. At the ceremony, Chairman of the Delhi People’s Council Naresh Kumar promised the best possible conditions for the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry and the embassy during construction. PM Phuc said the new complex is expected to make it easier for embassy’s staff to fulfill their tasks and to contribute to strengthening ties between the two countries.
