The four-day event features products of local enterprises and South Korea, known worldwide for gingseng. Ngoc Linh ginseng, a rare medical root containing 52 saponin compounds beneficial to one’s health, was discovered on Ngoc Linh Mountain on the boundary between Kon Tum and the central province of Quang Nam in the late 1960s. It was included in the list of national products by the Prime Minister last year. Kon Tum province now has more than 400 hectares of Ngoc Linh ginseng.
