NGOs praise Vietnam’s measures to fight Covid-19
(VOVWORLD) - 78 non-governmental organizations in Vietnam have sent a letter of thanks and support for Vietnam's urgent, effective, and transparent measures to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the letter sent to the National Steering Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control, they applauded the determination of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Vietnamese government for protecting community health even though short term economic benefits must be sacrificed. They confirmed support for the Vietnamese government in helping disadvantaged people and those affected by the pandemic.
78 non-governmental organizations promised to maintain international cooperation and solidarity, stressing their willingness to provide foreign aid for Vietnam not only at this time, but also after the pandemic is over.
