(VOVworld)- On Wednesday, the National Assembly discussed President Tran Dai Quang’s nomination of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc for the post of Prime Minister.  The vote for the Prime Minister will begin on Thursday morning, followed by the swearing-in of the Prime Minister.

President Tran Dai Quang nominates Nguyen Xuan Phuc to the post of Prime Minister

Nguyen Xuan Phuc was born in 1954. He was Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province, Deputy Chief Government Inspector, Minister-Head of the Government Office and Deputy Prime Minister. He was a member of the Party Central Committee during the 10^th, 11^th and 12^th tenure and a member of the Politburo in the 11^th and 12^th tenure.
