No deal reached yet on Greece bailout plan
Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem
(VOVworld) - Eurozone finance ministers will meet again on Sunday in Brussels after failing to agree on Saturday whether to meet Greece's request for a third bailout worth 53.5 billion euros. Eurogroup chairman and Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem told reporters the talks were very difficult and would resume on Sunday afternoon. Analysts said the Eurogroup remains divided regarding Greece’s latest reform proposal in which Athens accepts almost strict conditions set by its creditors despite the fact that most Greek people said no to harsh austerity measures in the recent national referendum.
