(VOVworld) – On Wednesday according to South Korea’s Yonhap news agency, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea launched a ballistic missile into eastern waters from its western region at 7:50 a.m. local time.

This is the latest launch in a series of ballistic missile tests by North Korea which violate UN Security Council resolutions addressing its nuclear program. Two weeks ago North Korea fired three submarine-launched ballistic missiles, which were revealed to have been Scud-type missiles.
