North Korea’s Foreign Minister Ri Son-Gwon, Minister of People’s Security Kim Jong-Ho, and Minister of the People’s Armed Forces Kim Jong-Gwan were elected to the State Affairs Commission, the KCNA said.

The SPA holds a plenary session every April to set the state budget and reshuffle the Cabinet. The session was originally scheduled to take place on Friday. The KCNA gave no reason why the session was delayed.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un did not attend Sunday’s parliamentary session.
