North Korea says nuclear status final and irreversible
(VOVWORLD) - North Korea's status as a nuclear-weapon state is undeniable and it will continue to build its nuclear forces until military threats from the US and its allies are eliminated, North Korean state media KCNA said on Friday.

Quoted remarks by North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, took issue with a joint statement recently released by the G7 Foreign Ministers condemning North Korea’s unlawful ballistic missile launches and saying that Pyongyang "cannot and will never" have the status of a nuclear-weapon state under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Choe accused the G7 countries of illegally interfering in North Korea's internal affairs by demanding denuclearisation, saying Pyongyang will respond if they attempt to violate its sovereignty and fundamental interests.
