North Korea slams US-South Korea joint drills
(VOVWORLD) - North Korea has strongly denounced ongoing joint military exercises between South Korea and the US, calling them a violation of the agreements that North Korea reached with the US and South Korea last year.

North Korea’s official KCNA news agency called the drills a wanton violation of the North Korea-US joint statement and the North-South declarations and pose an all-out challenge to efforts towards peace on the Korean peninsula.
The US and South Korea agreed to replace two major annual spring war games “Foal Eagle” and “Key Resolve” with the shorter exercise “Dong Maeng” which opened on Monday.
