(VOVworld) - North Korea on Thursday threatened to "remarkably" build up its nuclear attack capability should the United States tries to squeeze Pyongyang further into abandoning its nuclear programs.

The North's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said in a commentary that the U.S. keeps making absurd accusations against North Korea’s justifiable measures for self-defense, adding that the hostile forces' desperate moves against Pyongyang would only cause it to strongly bolster its nuclear capability.  KCNA said no matter how hard the US may trumpet “North Korea's threat and provocation”, the U.S. can never deny the justice of North Korea’s measures to bolster their nuclear forces. It is a just measure to protect the sovereign right of the country and nation from US moves to stifle it.
